Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Timothy John Mowry was involved in the sport from a young age. He attended high school in Miami, Florida, where he met his wife and mother of four, Darlene Renee Flowers.
He is white and of Irish descent, while his wife is of Afro-Bahamian descent.
Tim married Darlene shortly after a few years of military service.
Tim and Darlene were assigned to the United States Army around 1975.
Darlene supported their early careers when they were in the group Voices. Beginning with Sister, the identical duo of Tia and Tamera have appeared in several television series and movies. They also had their own television show Tia & Tamera which aired from August 8, 2011, to September 22, 2013.

Tahj is an American actor who has starred in television series like Baby Daddy. Although, his younger brother Tavior is not attached to any entertainment concerts. He enjoys sports like his father and plays college football at the University of California, Davis.
The couple’s newest son, Tavior Mowry, has chosen a different path than the rest of the family.
