Raju made his film debut in KGF: Chapter 1 (2018). He played the antagonist in the film and won praise for his portrayal of Garuda. Raju will play the villain in Sulthan directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, an untitled film starring Vetri and directed by newcomer Guru Ramanujam, Jana Gana Mana directed by I.
He is reportedly in talks to play the main role in the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Sthambam 2’. The film will be directed by Satheesh Paul from a script written by Paul Brothers. The shooting of the film is expected to start in the third week of December 2021 in Pala, Kottayam. This will be Ramachandra’s first major role in a Malayalam film.
