Nyra Banerjee Career
Film
Banerjee started her career as a child artist at the age of fifteen. She rose to fame after playing the lead role in Toss: A Flip of Destiny, then famous director Priyadarshan offered her to play lead actress Maria in his film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal. . At the same time, She also worked in Telugu film Aa Okkadu and Telugu films like Saradaga Kasepa, Mouna Ragam, and Orange.
In 2016, Banerjee changed her name to Nyra and appeared under a new name in the movie One Night Stand.
Television
In 2019, Banerjee entered the Indian television industry as she played the role of Divya Sharma Shergil (leading role) in the TV series Star Plus Divya Drishti. It got a great response from the audience. She was later also seen on Excuse Me Maadam along with Rajesh Kumar and Sucheta Khanna.

Nyra started learning classical music and ghazals from her mother at a very young age. She even sang different children’s songs.
She was supposed to make his film debut with director JV Iyer’s film adaptation of Ramayana, where he had to play Sita, but due to the sudden death of the director, the film was not produced.
