Naga was born to Tollywood star Akinini Nagarjuna and his ex-wife Lakshmi Ramanidu Dagupati.
He used to play keyboard and bass in his school band and later studied keyboard at Trinity College, London.
During his stay in Chennai for 18 years, he completed his studies and returned to Hyderabad for his Bachelor’s degree.
He wished to pursue a career for his father during the second year of his graduation.
