Molly Yeh was born on May 22, 1989, in Glenview, Illinois, the son of Jody and clarinetist John Bruce Yeh. Her mother’s name is Jewish and his father’s name is Chinese. She has an elder sister, Jenna, who is a chef, in addition to a younger half-sister, Mia.

Recently in 2022, She worked in the American cooking competition television series  Spring Baking Championship (@springbakingchampionship) as the presenter. This series aired on Food Network. She works as a host for the eighth season, which launch on February 28, 2022.

Yeh sit in on Glenbrook South High School and the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory, where she was a member of two crash ensembles, The Rattan Trio and Beat 3, which won back-to-back gold medals (2004 and 2005) in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition junior division. She kept diaries from a young age which became his blog in 2009.

later in high school, she moved to New York to attend the Juilliard School, where she served as an Editorial Assistant and Writer at the Juilliard Journal and in 2011 earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion.

In 2014, Yeh married Nick Hagen, also a Juilliard music student, and moved to East Grand Forks, Minnesota, where Hagen is a fifth-generation agronomist.

In October 2016, Yeh post her first book, Molly on the Range: Recipes and Stories from An Improbable Life on a Farm (Rodale Books), for which she won the 2017 Judges’ Choice IACP Cookbook Award.

In June 2018, it was announced that Yeh would be hosting a cooking show on the Food Network. The series, Girl Meets Farm, Started on June 24, 2018. Her ninth season of Girl Meets Farm premiered on September 19, 2021. Also in November 2018, she co-hosted From the Top, a podcast featuring young classics musicians.

Molly Yeh also works as a judge along with Jeff Mauro in the cooking show Supermarket Stakeout (@supermarketstakeout) telecast on Food Network hosted by Alex Guarnaschelli.

Yeh worked tirelessly before welcoming her new baby, both on her upcoming cookbook, Home Is Where The Eggs Are, and Girl Meets Farm. She flaunted the cute bulge of hers during the latest season of the hit Food Network show. Yeh even filmed a new special, Girl Meets Farmhouse, about her home renovations.

In 2014, Yeh married Nick Hagen, also a Juilliard music student, and moved to East Grand Forks, Minnesota, where Hagen is a fifth-generation farmer.

In November 2018, Yeh reported that she and her husband were awaiting her first child. On March 30, 2019, Yeh gave birth to a girl, Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hagen, named after her husband’s great-great-grandfather Bernt (who founded the Hagen farm) and her own great-great-grandfather Bernard. In September 2021, Yeh announced that she and her husband were expecting their second little one in February 2022. the couple’s second daughter, Ira Dorothy Yeh Hagen, was born on February 20, 2022.

From a young age, she wrote the diary which became her blog in 2009. She earned the Saveur Blog of the year.
