Lydia Wilson was born on November 30, 1984, in Queen’s Park, London, to an American mother and an English father. She took a basic course at Chelsea College of Art and Design and studied English at Cambridge University, where she earned a first-class degree. Elle Alston trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Her first stage performance after graduation was in 2009, where she played the role of Maria in House of Special Purpose. In 2010 she starred in the science-fiction drama Never Let Me Go. She has guest roles on episodes of Pete Versus Life, Inspector Barnaby, Any Human Heart, and a recurring role on the television miniseries South Riding. She also starred in Crimson Petal and the White, Black Mirror, Dirk Gently, and Misfits.
She performed in Sarah Kane’s 2010 Olivier Award-Winning Blasted at the Lyric Theater.
In 2012, she had the opportunity to play Emily Fox Seton in the television movie Making of a Lady alongside Linus Roache, Joanna Lumley, and James D’Arcy. She has also appeared in such works as The Heretic, Hysteria, and King Charles 3. Most recently, Wilson played Eve on the comedy-drama television series Flack as the lead actress.
Wilson is an oboe musician. She also sings in a group.

After her film debut of hers, Lydia Wilson continued to perform on stage and appeared in various theatrical productions. In 2011, she appeared in “The Heretic”, followed by the role of Jesica in “The Acid Test” and as Annabella, in “‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore”, the same year. In 2013, she played Jessica in the stage production of “Hysteria” and the last known stage performance of hers was that of Kate, Duchess of Cambridge in “King Charles III” in 2014.
Mrs. Wilson is fortunate to have the freedom to live in England or the United States, thanks to her parents. Because her father is English and she was born in England, she is a citizen of that country. Her mother is an American and this grants her dual US citizenship because her mother has never renounced her status as a US citizen.
Lydia Wilson has been rated based on the views of viewers on the movies they have seen to her credit. After looking at her poll results, we found that Wilson received the lowest approval rating for her performance in ‘Love Is Thicker Than Water’ in 2016, with a score of just 43%. While it may be a bit disappointing, she received a high 86% approval rating for her work on “Star Trek Beyond” that same year.
