She began her career in 1961 after appearing on Broadway. She has popped up on many TV shows and starred in: Airplane! (1980), Taken (2015), and Hanging by a Thread (1979).

She is popular for her appearances on famous game shows such as ‘Chain Reaction’ created by Bob Stewart, the NBC game show ‘Match Game’, and the American game show ‘Password Plus’.

She is famous for her ‘tongue in cheek’ comments to contestants every now and then, which made her fairly popular among the audience.
