Fernando Gabriel Tatís Medina Jr. (born January 2, 1999), nicknamed “El Niño”, is a Dominican professional baseball player and outfielder who plays for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is the son of former MLB player Fernando Tatís Sr, known for being the only MLB player to have won two Grand Slam tournaments in the same round. Tatís Jr. is 6 feet 3 inches (191 cm) tall and weighs 217 pounds (98 kg). He made his MLB debut in 2019, won the Silver Slugger award in 2020, and was named an All-Star in 2021.
