Culotti had incorporated some of the key pillars of franchising into his business. First, he found the concept of him. she said
“I want every single person on the planet to eat fresh food. If we just did that one thing, we would all be healthier,”
In this concept, Culotti identified her values and the culture that she sought to create.
Culotti had to consider his market. Fresno, like much of California, is very wellness-oriented and strong in agriculture. During the pandemic, Americans have had a tremendous opportunity to rethink their lives and their opportunities. With a major global health crisis underway and the process of food shortages looming, Culotti’s concept addressed the issues that were of concern to his community.
“I think we had a really wonderful opportunity to bond with our family, to look outside ourselves, to look outside of our material world that we live in and start thinking about some of our more esoteric values, the really important values that we have,” she said. “It’s not always about how much money you have in your bank account, it’s about how resourceful you are.”
Ultimately, Culotti capitalized on his concept and how She was able to meet the needs of his community. From there, she could find other people who share common values to spread her message and work with her business.
Culotti spotted the connection between building her concept and building a franchise system.
As for Culotti’s experience building a business in Fresno, again, it’s a bit like a franchisor thanking his team for allowing him to manifest his vision.
