Chitra Tripathi Education

Chitra Tripathi received her initial education in Gorakhpur. She completed her studies at A.D Government Girls Inter College, Gorakhpur. She then completed a Postgraduate degree from Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University. Chitra Tripathi completed her postgraduate studies in Defense Studies. She didn’t even dream about making a TV news anchor.

Chitra wanted to join the Indian defense. In her childhood, She was an NCC student gold medalist and also participated in the Rajpath Parade on Republic Day.

Chitra Tripathi Career

Chitra Tripathi started her career with regional news channel ETV, after which she started appearing on national television Doordarshan. In her 14-year career (up to 2019), She has worked with major news channels such as News24, Sahara Samay, India News, and ABP News. After joining ABP News in 2016, Chitra Tripathi’s face has managed to create a distinct identity across the country.

However, She has hosted shows like “2019 Kaun Jeetega”, “Kaun Banega CM”, “Modi Ke Char saal” and “Bihar Ka Neta Kaisa Ho” with this channel. So ABP News also honored her with the Best Presenter Award. On February 11, 2019, Chitra left ABP News and joined Aaj Tak. She works as deputy editor/presenter for this channel, and at 7 pm, the show “Desh Tak” is running.
