She was raised in Montclair, New Jersey. In high school, She pass a year studying widely in Hungary and adopted the nickname “Bogi” which is the short form of the Hungarian name Boglárka. She was a college student when her older sister Jenni was killed in an accident. She studied law, society, and women’s studies at Oberlin College, but decided to follow a career in the automobile industry rather than become a lawyer.
After studying law, Buggy Latener decided to become an auto technician and learn to repair vehicles because she loves cars and vehicles. She looked at the Universal Technical Institute and learned about cars and the automobile field. She then joined BMW Factory Training via the BMW STEP program.
She learn more at a BMW plant and worked as a technical dealer. She also focuses on maintaining and repairing customer vehicles. Bogi labored there for 7 years and gained huge experience in car repair.
Her aim is to open her own car repair shop and give jobs to women who want to work as auto technicians. This aim permit him to open his first store called “180 Degree Autos” in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2006. Along with this shop, She fixes customers’ cars and vehicles.
Initially, his business was a two-car auto repair shop, but in his sixth year in business, with over $1 million in sales, he purchased a two-story building to house his six-person staff and anticipated a first-floor auto repair business and self-education classes. The ladies are on the second floor.
She started the store with the intention of using it to teach car education to women, but the demand for her work in the automotive and education field was so high that she had to review her plans.
In 2011, she was titled on the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40th Under 40 list.
Bogi Lateiner also runs Girl Gang Garage, where they offer mentoring programs for women.
